This score (much like the game it is written for) understands that horror and tragedy are two sides of the same, wretched coin. It is a beautiful, enthralling, disturbing work of art that puts ice in one's bones while still imparting the sympathetic tale of a character consumed by grief and sent spiraling into what we might call madness... or, more uncomfortably, clarity.
This album is a mournful, bitter shriek of a thing, and I believe one of the most perfect horror soundtracks. yourfavouritetimothy
